The Skilled Pakistan Program is one of the six major schemes launched by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, through which the young generation can have the opportunity to excel in their respective fields. All over Pakistan including Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu, and Kashmir, under the Skilled Pakistan program, high tech / high-end training will be provided to the youth keeping in regards to the modern age. To this end, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between NAVTTC Pakistan and Turko Vocational Institute Finland on 13 January 2021. According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Embassy in Sweden, Finland agreed to increase cooperation in the field of technical and vocational education and training.
The MoU will play a key role in rehabilitating Pakistan’s vocational training system and developing a highly-skilled, dynamic, and internationally competitive workforce in line with the current government’s vision. This agreement is very important for the betterment of Pakistan’s TVET sector as Finland’s modern TVET system has an ideal and leading position in the world.
